Mario is synonymous with Nintendo and has been their main man since the very early games consoles like the Nintendo NES.
Mario was originally a platform game and so the player would manoeuvre Mario over various landscapes avoiding pitfalls and badies and collect as many good items as you could. This type of game is still allot of fun but is now considered more of a classic or retro style of game, there are lots of modern Mario games though for the Nintendo Wii and these present allot of fun for Wii players.
A popular Mario game for the Wii is the Mario Party game which is a collection of lots of mini games that kids and the family will love. The games cover all kinds of activities and can also accommodate several players and so Mario Party offers allot of multi player fun. And there is also a Mario football game which is also allot of fun, this is not like realistic football games but instead is an over the top and lots of fun football bonanza.
